Quote from "Sailing, Seamanship and Yacht Construction", by Uffa Fox (1936):

"Designed and built in 1912, Jonquil swept the board of that year and her remarkable record is a credit to both her designer and owner, for seldom have such a record as hers for a season: 44 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 55 prizes out of 57 starts".

She was eventually replaced by Vanda
