Story

built to represent Italy in the World Cup of 1938. Reputedly commissoned by Mussolini. She never raced in her early years as the war started and she was bought ashore for safe keeping. Later she was bought by a Swedish syndicate of owners who raced her competitively in the 1960's. We belive that she won the classic's class at this time. She was then found on the Belgium Holland boarder in a Barn in a very poor state of repair and was bought by Olga Polizzi, transported to Devon UK and was lovingly restored by John Moody's Yard in Salcombe. She is now based in St.Mawes and delights many of the guests at the Hotel Tresanton as a comercial day sailing yacht.
